History and Vision
Our History
Turning Point Family Services, part of the SUN Behavioral Health network with locations in nine states, began in 2002 with a mission to provide nurturing, therapeutic foster homes for children in need. Over the years, we have expanded our services to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve, offering a comprehensive range of behavioral health and supportive services for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
At Turning Point Family Services, we believe that every individual deserves personalized care that recognizes their unique strengths, experiences, and goals. Our person-centered approach focuses on delivering services in structured, community-based settings where individuals can develop the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to thrive. By building upon each person’s strengths, we help foster self-esteem, encourage healthy relationships, and support long-term recovery and well-being.
Our Mission
The mission of Turning Point Family Services is to empower individuals with the skills, resources, and support they need to achieve personal growth, reach their goals, and become healthy, productive members of their communities.
Our Core Values
